Pig Out

Pigtails. Cute when you are five, smiling proudly for your school pictures, maybe not so much for the office. Although depending on how you wear them you can give them a grown up edge. I loved it when Jen A wore hers low and loose when she had a longer bob. And if you are Brigitte Bardot, you can wear your hair however the hell you like and still look amazing.
I loved Khloe Kardashian's take on the humble pigtail, segmenting to give a more textured finish. The key to a successful pig, I believe is to keep it low and loose. Too high and you've got that Year Two School photo where the photographer would crack an awful joke to get you chuckling - even with lopsided high pigtails. Thanks Amy Hathaway! Rough, textured hair will help avoid a too polished look, and the odd plait thrown in always looks great.
Think the pigtails might make an appearance at Glastonbury, anything that will help hide dreadful festival hair is a friend of mine. Dry shampoo definitely included...
