Hair SOS: Itchy Scalp

An itchy scalp can be frustrating and embarrassing if it causes flakiness. Sometimes it can be due to medication, others times other factors such as diet, or allergies to certain ingredients may cause the problems. Either way it's something that a lot of people suffer with. Luckily LUSH have a few things to combat a dry, itchy scalp and also help soothe it.
I'm always on the lookout for the best products to help hair problems so I can recommend when asked. First up, we have the gorgeous smelling Super Balm (£12) a scalp treatment that's packed with essential oils, waxes and goodies to help calm and soothe an aggravated scalp. Use in targeted areas that are uncomfortable on the scalp and leave for 20 minutes, then shampoo and condition as normal.
Then it's onto the shampoo and conditioner. Rehab (£5.40/100ml) is a restorative shampoo, and these can help if the scalp has product build up or other elements affecting it's condition. All of which can drive you mad when it's starts to aggravate. Full of papaya, pineapple, kiwi and mango it's mixed with the scalp helping peppermint and juniper. Veganese (£4.45/100ml) contains super ingredient lavender, known for it's soothing properties, and is a light weight conditioner that won't weigh hair down, or build up on the scalp. Agar agar gel helps smooth and create shine.
If your scalp is really not improving through using treatments, it may be worth visiting your doctor who can take a look, just in case something is wrong. But hopefully these LUSH goodies should help!
