Shooting: Moody Sand, Studio D

I recently worked on a shoot, styling the hair (well wigs for this one!) The concept was a moody dark shoot using sand, the hair brief was choppy and textured and the clothes were dark, rich and opulent.
Using wigs for shoots is quite common and it can really change a models look easily and quickly. I took a wig I'd had that was well below shoulder and curly and really transformed it. Taking it to just below jaw length, I cut heavy, blunt layers into the hair creating a jagged, textured bob look with fringe that is very on trend this season. The ice blonde colour worked well against the sand and clothes and I can't wait to see the final images - which I hope to share with you soon.
Lots more planned including an Avant Garde shoot which I'm really looking forward to. Nice to be back out there styling up a storm!
