Salon: Mr Rizzo, Covent Garden

Saturday morning in Covent Garden and a trip to Mr Rizzo - a barbers that blends British tailoring with Italian flair. Part of the Sanrizz salon family it offers creative cutting, barbering and luxury shaving.
'It’s a place for the working gentlemen who wants the immaculate sharp look to succeed; the perfect legacy to my late father Mr. Rizzo!' explains British Hairdressing Entrepreneur and Salon Owner, Tony Rizzo.
I took Tom along so he could relax and get a trim. Perk of being a hair blogger's boyfriend eh! We arrived and were quickly looked after being offered drinks and having our jackets taken. The salon is a great space, with lots of light and I LOVE how they have old barbers chairs at some of the stations. I'm a sucker for a retro interior and I love how Mr Rizzo have mixed modern with vintage pieces.

Harri, the stylist, was great. Consultation wise it was the best I've ever heard - he spoke to Tom about what he wanted, the style and everything else in-between. He advised him on products to use without the hard sell and even gave him blowdry how-to tips. Tom's hair is long, reaching his shoulders but the back was slightly longer and overall his hair just needed a 'tidy' He wanted to keep the length but wanted it to look like it was supposed to be that style - rather than just grown out.
The relaxing wash and head massage made way for a cut, and neck trim (along with a sideburn/beard tidy) which was then finished with a spritz of Fudge Sea Salt Medium Hold Salt Enchanted Texture Spray and a blowdry (carried out with a Denman D3) A very glossy haired Tom left happy and I have to admit I was pretty envious at how good his hair looked! I do love the feeling of freshly blown dried hair. Definitely recommend the salon if you are wanting to treat any men in your life to a bit of a pamper. Full list of services and prices are here.
