Behind the Scenes: Dalliance Magazine

I'm writing this with half closed eyes and my third giant cup of coffee in my hand, but I just couldn't wait to share with you what I got up to this week work-wise. I've taken on a lot more hair work lately, and I'm loving working with fellow creatives and building my portfolio with stunning images.
Many thanks to Wonderland Wigs for the hairpieces
Dalliance magazine were shooting their June issue editorial and cover and I was part of the team, in charge of creating some gorgeous hair for the three models, based on a number of themes. It's been planned via pinterest mania, emails galore and a lot of at home mood boards, but the results were definitely worth it.
I'll share the link and some images once the issue is out, but for now, here are some behind the scenes snaps I took whilst running around the studio. I like to document each shoot I do, as it's great to look through and use for inspiration in future and to, of course, give people a little glimpse into the unglamorous world of hairstyling!
The June issue is set around international fashion which meant the stylist had sourced some amazing outfits, including some jaw-dropping headpieces for the three 'stories' I have to say the Geisha was my favourite, I'm slightly obsessed with kimonos and all things oriental so I wanted to run off with most of the outfits and accessories for this look.
Now, any chance of a quick snooze under my desk...
