Love your hair mate!...

I've spoken in the past about how we should learn to love our hair, but how about sharing some of that love and giving someone a compliment on their hair? If someone on your commute, in the local shop or pub said 'Love your hair!' would you look at them like they were mad? Or thank them?
Hair is pretty much the first thing I notice about someone, think it's something to do with being a bit of a hair geek, rather than having some odd fetish. I've often (usually after a few ciders) complimented someone on their hair whilst touching up make up in the ladies toilets or waiting at the bar for a drink. Some have looked at me like I have two heads, and some have been thrilled that someone took the time to say something nice. We are quick to comment on Twitter, and Blogs letting ladies know we love their hair so why not in real life!
How many times have you woken up, done your hair, looked in the mirror and thought you looked more Wurzel than Wow?! Probably a few. Now, if a random had said 'Love your hair!' It may just have brightened your day. I've often found the best way to find new products or styling tools is asking someone how they did their hair, what they used. Us ladies need to stick together and share our styling secrets.

So if someone's hair looks nice, tell them! You might just make their day.

  1. If I see someone I think looks brilliant I always tell them, sometimes I get looked at like I'm a nutter but so what? x

    1. Why not Vix, it'd make my day if someone complimented me on my hair. And make for a happier hair world I think.

I live in Walsall, and was shopping around for a hair stylist there. Thats when I found this great website - http://www.hairdresserswalsall.co.uk/ - Do check it out!
