Event: Cloud Nine - Know your hair, Love your hair

Monday evening I caught up with Cloud Nine and the new campaign, Know your hair, Love your hair. Using the handy discovery tree on their freshly revamped site will help you get advice on styles to wear, the right heat for your hair and a whole host of other tips.
Cloud Nine want to make sure that when using heat styling tools we don't overdo it on the temperature, and with the wands and irons in the range being temperature controlled you can tailor the tools to your specific needs. I was advised to use temperatures of 150 - 175 degrees to style my hair, which I must admit is lower than I generally use. I'm taking Cloud Nine's advice and will report back on how it goes.
The team at Trevor Sorbie, along with Global Creative Director for Cloud Nine, Leigh Keates, helped style the five 'style ambassadors' each leading their own individual hair type and texture to show the versatility of the styling tools. They were given some key celebrity looks with a Kate Middleton inspired up do, Cheryl Cole waves, Adele's beautiful volume, Kelly Rowland's curls, Jessica Alba's mid-length marvel and a glossy Anne Hathaway crop.
It was a great evening with the stylists on hand to give advice on The O (I need one in my life!) and how to use the Micro Iron on shorter styles. The key thing I love about Cloud Nine is that they are recognising the damage we can do to our hair when not using heat tools properly. So the best way to conquer that? Educate users on the correct way to style, using a suitable temperature.
I'll be going through the styles created, and showing you how to achieve similar looks in the next few weeks. Ideal for a wedding or special occasion. Definitely a style for any hair type or length out there.
