Happy 40th Herbal Essences!

Looking back at my first forte into haircare, I remember picking up Herbal Essences and loving the smell and feel of my hair after using it, because they used gorgeous ingredients like Moroccan Rose, Hawaiian Coconut and raspberry to name but a few. They've always been there from time to time in my haircare routine and I'm sure after being around for 40 years they must be doing something right!
I think my first ever Herbal experience was using the Chamomile shampoo and conditioner, in a Yellow coloured bottle. The first time mum had let me choose my own shampoo and conditioner and I felt so grown up - if only she knew she was creating a haircare monster!
My sister is a BIG fan of the Tousle Me Softly range (partly I think because we both like saying tousle!) and I have to say I love the Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Protective Mask (£4.39) A great boost to damaged hair.
I've been using the special edition Herbally Ever After (named by Herbal Essences fans) for about a week now. With it's Royal Jasmine and Silky Sea Palm extracts it certainly has the elements to give you shiny, healthy hair. I've always found with Herbal Essences, the result I get is good. My hair feels light, but manageable, and the shine has definitely helped make my hair a lot healthier - even if the limited edition bottles do remind me slightly of washing machine liquid. With the promise of breakage defender it's just what I need at the moment. The quest for long hair is still ongoing and if a prince will be coming to see me, it'd be nice to swish my hair about a bit (and have longer hair than him) Sure we've all watched the advert and secretly given a little 'Yes, Yes, Yes!' in the shower.
Share your Herbal memories below to be in with a chance of winning some amazing prizes, who doesn't fancy a cut & blow dry with Ben Cooke, at Lockonego Salon worth £300, or maybe a year's supply of Herbal Essences Shampoo & Conditioner, even the Herbal Essences Hamper sounds good to me.
