Wonderful Braids: ghd

The ghd stage at Salon International this year gave us some incredible hair from the stylists involved. Braids were definitely top of the trends and I watched as they created some gorgeous styles.
I absolutely loved this style, it helped the models hair was gorgeously long and mermaid-esque to start with, but the crown directional braids looked great with wavy ends. To me it looks like a hat, with the ends being left loose. Definitely inspiration to try out.
The gorgeous faux bob. This is really simple to recreate, and I'm planning to show you soon as I think it would look fantastic for Christmas parties. It also has a 1920's slightly undone feel to it, slightly obsessed with the whole 'era' hair look at the moment - I'll be uncontrollable when The Great Gatsby is released.
I really enjoy seeing hair recreated, and could sit for hours watching others style up a storm. Even if you weren't a stylist, I think most would have fun watching the stages at Salon International and marveling at the creativity.

  3. Love this hairdo! My hair is so thin I don't think I'd ever be able to look good with this style! :)
