Boots & Berries

As the nights draw in, and the layers build, I've been reaching for deep shades of berry for my lips and nails. And the boots bit? You'll see...
I picked up this Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Black Cherry for my birthday night out. Definitely beginning to get braver when it comes to wearing lip colour, and Revlon have been at the forefront of my expedition into painting my lips all sorts of colours. Black Cherry is a moisturising, deep, heavy hit of colour. Great for impact, and you really feel ready for a glamorous night out (or down the local - you just feel ready) Wear wise, I did have to top up during the evening, otherwise it would have looked slightly like red wine mouth, however it didn't dry out my lips and I can't wait to wear it again. One top up on a night out that involved cocktails, comedy and a huge amount of fun? Not bad Revlon.
Next is the blogger favourite, Essie. This is my first Essie nail varnish, and I got Bordeaux. It's a build-able shade of dark burgundy (anyone else think of Ron when they write burgundy?) It looks luxourous on, lasts well and the brush is thick so it takes next to no time applying. I always feel quite classy with dark nails, even with a burger in one hand and beer in the other.
Finally the boots. Oh the boots. The gorgeous Milly got these after Victoria featured them on her Ebay dupes posts, and with some birthday money burning a hole in my pocket, I just had to get them. I LOVE an ankle boot, and these are perfect with jeans, tights or some cute socks and bare legs if I'm feeling brave (and the UK gets an unexpected warm spell!)

  1. Oh the boots, the boots - I love them!!

  2. Essie polishes are great, I'd definitely recommend 'Angora Cardi' for the winter - perfect colour but a bit different too! xo

  3. Love that lip colour! I reckon I would look so silly in it, but i desperately want to try the darker look :) x

  4. Loving those boots, dead rock and roll! x
