Review: Garnier Olia

Last week I spoke about changing my hair colour using Garnier Olia, after doing the patch test and having no  reaction I went ahead and gave it a go...

After I'd coloured my hair, I popped along to the Garnier Olia event, where I got to talk to Lyndell Mansfield who described the new colour as 'one of the most exciting things to happen to the at-home hair colour market' She'd coloured Amy's hair, which was a gorgeous shade of Red and looked fantastic.
Does it do what it promises?
Delivers maximum colour performance
Visibly improves the quality of hair
It definitely improved the quality of my hair. It felt smoother, thicker and healthier which isn't something I'd usually say after using a hair colour. I didn't find my hair was dry or had any negative effect from the day.
The colour was multi tonal and looked natural but with added shine.

Would I get it again?
Yes. Definitely one I'd use again, and one I'd recommend. I love the fact that it has a floral fragrance rather than the usual harsh smell most of us are used to when home colouring.
It was extremely easy to use, didn't drip and the instructions were clear and precise.

Anything else?
Have a watch of my latest video on YouTube to find out what I thought and how the colour looks in real life...

  1. Thanks for the product review - it sounds great, and like something i need. Will have to keep an eye out next time I'm at the hairdresser for sure~

  2. I am interested in trying this one out since I used to have colored hair too. I want to enhance the color of it so I think this is the right product to use.

  3. Hello :)
Do you know which red shade was used on the hair in the photograph?

  4. Was curious about Olia and WOW that looks stunning. It looks like it could be your natural color. Really impressed.
