Pantene Pro-V & Cancer Hair Care...

It's always nice to see a big brand like Pantene help a charity raise funds. The Cancer Hair Care charity supports and helps women living with hair loss through cancer treatment, this affects over 100,000 women a year so no doubt you'll know someone who has suffered hair loss.
Brand ambassador Cat Deeley has been working and filming with some of the women who have benefitted through the Cancer Hair Care charity
"Often one of the first things women think about when they've been diagnosed with cancer is losing their hair. They believe it's a symbol of their femininity and health, so to start losing it becomes a huge hurdle. Working with these lovely ladies made me realise how little help there was out there. The work Cancer Hair Care is doing, together with Pantene Pro-V's support, is absolutely invaluable. I am so proud that as a part of my ambassador role, I am able to help promote awareness about this wonderful charity."
I can't imagine how it must feel to be told you have cancer. And whilst I would like to think I'd come out all guns blazing and battle it, it's great to know there are charities out there to help support you through what must be an extraordinarily hard time. I know I would be devastated about losing my hair - and I know to some that must sound slightly shallow but my hair makes me feel womanly and I do use it as a 'blanket' at times to hide insecurities I have.
In addition to an initial donation, Pantene are donating 5p from every sale to Cancer Hair Care, and with special packs going on sale in August it's hoped that more money can be raised for the charity, and the work it does. Founder Jasmin Julia Gupta says that the charity helps women realise they've don't have to face up to hair loss alone - together they can make hair loss one less worry.
Keep an eye out for the Cancer Care logo on special bottles of Pantene and support a charity that helps thousands of women...

  1. That is such a good idea. I'd happily buy this because I love Pantene - supporting a charity is an added bonus! Xo
