Take a Look: Babyliss Big Hair Rotating Styler

When I first saw this on the advert I'll admit I had my doubts....
Would it be easy to use?
Would I really get that volume?
Would I tangle my hair in a ball and have to have it cut?
I decided it was worth the risk, and when the Fairy Hobmother waved his wand I decided to get mine using my Amazon voucher. And I'm very glad I did...
The Babyliss Big Hair is all about giving volume easily, in essence this is a barrel brush and hairdryer in one. It helps give a result you'd usual get at a salon - perfecting the blow dry at home, no mean feat I'm sure you'll agree! I've used it a few times now, and even leant it to a girl at work who wanted some volume but was nervous about using this...needless to say she's ordered one for herself now.
 What has it got?
  • 700W
  • Large 50mm rotating ceramic barrel with soft bristles, gives volume with smoothness and shine
  • Ionic technology for a frizz-free finish
  • Two heat settings plus cool
  • Three-year guarantee
  • Salon length cord
  • Brush guard for storage
The bristles on the brush are soft so whilst being strong enough to catch and style, it won't pull or snag the hair. There is also a forward and reverse button meaning you can rotate the hair up, hold then rotate down and release. Easy peasy! I would recommend giving your hair a rough dry then finishing with the Big Styler, just makes things quicker and easier for you.
I love the way it makes my hair feel bouncy and gives it a great shine. And it is brilliant for my fringe, if I just want to style the front of my hair and give it a bit of body I'll run this through my hair for a quick fix boost. My hair is just below my shoulders and I have some layers in it, but I've used this on bob length hair and on long hair and it gives good volume that lasts. One client has said they've put the Big Hair on their Christmas list! Praise indeed!
Keep 'em peeled for a Youtube tutorial on this. Has anyone tried it?
What did you think?
