Vidal Sassoon: Changing the World with a Pair of Scissors

A style created in the 1960's and still worn today? Sharp, clean and flattering to the wearer, Vidal had a vision and created some amazing cuts that have inspired many a stylist to this day.
With clients such as Mary Quant, Mia Farrow and Jean Shrimpton, you know Vidal definitely had the vision and the passion. Vidal & his precision cutting are synonymous with the 60's.

I'm halfway through reading Vidal at the moment, and am looking forward to getting the DVD when it's released later this year. Did anyone manage to watch the film yet? Or have you read the book?
What do you think of Vidal Sassoon? Have you ever had a five point cut?

  1. Oh I didn't realise there was a film. Even if the plot and acting are rubbish I bet it'll be worth watching for the costumes and hair!

  2. I didn't know there was a film around either. The first celebrity hairdresser, if I recall. x
