Want the Olsen wave?...

Wondering what to do next for a tutorial I was given my answer by a few different girlie's, all wanting one thing. The Olsen wave.
Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, beautiful clothes, great hair, always have a Starbucks in their hand. You know them!
How do they get that undone, nonchalant wave in their hair though? Plaiting hair when wet tends to leave a frizzy mess, and a waver can be too uniform. However I think I may have found it....

Now my hair isn't long enough to really copy the look (god love it, it's trying!) but I was pleased with the look I created and think it's pretty close to the twins. My waver truly is fab for creating these waves, and I know they'll last all day. It's just about working it in different ways -this time I bent my hair in half then clamped with the waver. This is the more defined wave featured in my Sunday Snip

So have I found the Olsen wave? Or are you waving goodbye to my do?
(I'm fully aware of what a total geek I can be at times!
Apologies for the posy pics just wanted to show off the wave)
I'm happy to do a tutorial on this by video if anyone would like?

  3. I don't think my hair would hold this, but I'd love to try.

  4. I think you've done a fab job. That's the look I try and achieve with my hair, usually by tying it up at night and not bothering with a brush. Yours is looking soooo long. xxx
