Sunday Snip #2

Thanks to all who commented on the previous Sunday Snip. Wasn't sure how it'd go down but you guys seem to like it, and that's what I'm all about.

So here's a round up of what's been rocking my hair world this week and some hints and facts for you to check out.

Did you know?...
Female hair grows more slowly than male hair. And not only that, male hair is also more dense. (Insert your own punchline there!!)

Handy hint!...
Heading off on your hols and worried about drying out your hair? Mix 2 tablespoons of your usual conditioner with water (fizzy tonic water is great) for a spray on conditioner that'll leave your hair soft and healthy.

How did they do it?
In ancient Rome, fair hair was much sought after and to achieve this look (the majority of Roman women had dark hair) they used Batavian foam and soap tablets from Wiesbaden or Mainz - made of goat fat (eww!) and beechwood ash.

Hair product of the week...
I've fallen back in love with my Andrew Barton waver. I have so many gadgets that sometimes some get neglected. I decided to wave my hair for work the other day, now it's longer the waves really have a beachy vibe to them. What do you think?

Celeb Hair of the week...
Kelly Osbourne, I love her hair at the moment. And this picture of her is gorgeous. She finally looks comfortable in her own skin and doesn't feel the need to try and look like other celebs, or try to hard to look "individual"
I love the unusual colour and the styling here is fab. I really have a thing for swept over hair at the moment.

I hope you've all had fab Sunday's full of laughter, cake and tea. :)

  9. Your hair looks great! I spotted those wavers in a magazine and was wondering what effect they gave. Would you say they're easy to use? I'm desperate to have the perfect beach waves, rather than curls.
