Reasons to be cheerful 1, 2, 3...

Posting on a Saturday night, must be detoxing. :)

So today was hectic, but I realised just why I love what I do for a living.
I travelled out to carry out a two colour (Koleston 12/0 & 6/0) full head of foils, cut & blow dry.
Off I went, and after having to be pushed off a roundabout by two rather bemused guys ("how did you manage to wedge one wheel on the roundabout love??!")
I made it! Ha! in your face snow!

The client was delighted with the colour and cut, and even swished her hair! It made me smile and think I'm so glad I can do that with the job I do. Hair is really important to us girls and it can really bring your mood up.

Thinking back to a few years ago I was 23 had been made redundant twice (!) and felt incredibly dispensable. Not a nice feeling so what better way than to retrain in something I should have originally done when I left school. So today was a good day...

...because of the following also

Aussie 3 minute reconstructor
This stuff is AMAZING. I use the Aussie range for shampoo and conditioner, but I've never tried the reconstructor before, more fool me!

Wella Flat Iron Spray
Smells great, will last for ages and really protects your hair from straightners.
We use the Wella range in the salon and always get comments about how great it smells. It may be a little pricey but totally worth getting.

So another hairy post done. Off for a healthy dinner, no crisps or fizzy pop since New Years day. It's killing me!! :)

  1. Glad you made it okay!

I've just found a mobile hairdresser in Leeds through a blog recommendation - she used to work at the salon I use now so I'm really excited. Just hope she can sort out my mullet!!
